Spooky Elegant Tablescape – Buy black candles, black cheesecloth (or black veil), skeletons from the craft store, and a random rat. I tied skeletons around the pillar candles, used my regular white plates, and added some gray chargers. I use these skeletons to decorate outside, so I just bring a few inside for the evening. Witch Hat Tablescape – Stuff a witches’ hat with paper, so it’s stiff and stands up by itself for an instant centerpiece. I placed the hat on top of a glass so it looks like its floating, bought Fall-colored plates from the dollar store — love the dollar store, just don’t tell anyone — tied Halloween ornaments on the napkins, and threw a fake spider in the flowers, which are orange of course.
Scarecrow Tablescape – Great for kids, families or a kids’ table. Same dollar store plates, same gray charges, napkins wrapped with twine and free greenery from the yard, group the scarecrows and a hay bale in the center of the table and you’re set.
